Now you may be asking yourself “why do I want points?!”
Good question! The points system is a way we can keep track of what members are really being active and which ones are slacking. At the end of every year we take a field trip to six flags. The students with the most points get a discount. Sounds good right? In addition to that we will be going to Florida this summer for the SADD conference and depending on how much money we have fundraised we might be able to take a few SADD members with us. And having the most points would get you a discount in that case also! Also if you’re planning on running for an officer position having a lot of points would be a great way to show you are a dedicated member.
How can I become an active SADD member you might be asking??
Simple, just go to all the meetings every Monday morning in room 214 at 7:50. Be attentive and listen to what we tell you there. We also have a SADD website, facebook, and twitter so you can know what’s going on!
